Calls for Help
“Calls for Help“ is a poetry collection following three characters. John is a few years older than Alex, but through depression and world events he finds he’s determine to reckon with his feelings before they trespass on the one he cares about. Through ego, envy, and fear Dion is either a mercurial friend or a scornful outsider.
Inspired by John Berryman’s Dream Songs, this collection asks the readers to struggle with the words. Some Calls will read straightforward while others will interrupt flow and ask for more attention.
