The Greendale Human Beings

Over a period of six seasons we fell in love with Community and its group of misfits. In their last season they did not hold back, commenting on Marvel, incest, and (more especially) writing method. The world they created sucked its audiences deep in. The could have easily built flaws by looking backward and trying to explain every little change, however instead they forged forward with creative and masterful gags and concepts. Not only did we have to laugh we had to cry.
Sometimes they sacrificed character development for a laugh, but the audience never once regretted it. The only development they even slacked on was Britta's (played by the wonderful Gillian Jacobs). Abed, Jeff, and Annie's character progressions were both smooth and entertaining. I particularly enjoy how Abed made Jeff more creative and Jeff brought Abed into accepting reality. That dynamic was beautiful.
Even as we missed Troy in season six we were able to move passed it with the help of Paget Brewster as Frankie Dart. There are few shows that end at the right time, like House md should have ended in season seven, Lost should have ended in season one, Firefly, Mercy, and ChicagoCode should have not been canceled. Community is one of the few shows that both needed six seasons and ends perfectly on its sixth season. This way we cannot consider any season a bad season, because they were all the best seasons.
Community season six can be seen on yahoo screen. I recommend you check it out, particularly if you were already a viewer just lost touch or something. The writing and the comedy is better than any show I have ever seen.
